Phoenix Conic Con
So planning is now underway for the 2012 Phoenix Conic Con. 3 shorts at this time will be promoted at out table plus we are proud to announce that MORAV creator Fon Davis will be at our table signing. Be sure to drop on by. This year the Con will be celebrating Star Trek The Next Generation’s 25th Anniversary by having a large part of the cast there including Sir Patrick Stewart and William Shatner. It’ll be a great time.
3rd Place & Best Use of Line
So Entity Eye did pretty well for its first submission into the A3F. There were some great films made. Talented individuals are excellent team work. Congrats to everyone!!

Letting myself go
So while I was getting ready for work today, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I was officially 40, first day of being 40. I don’t mind turning 40, not in the least. What I did mind was the way my body looked. Ugh!! What happened to that guy that did 3 hours of martial arts? That hiked on the weekends ? That ran in the mornings? I need to find out where he went and take over because apparently the 30’s Nando was not good forums physical shell. Let’s see what happens.
Is it that time already?
I turn 40 tomorrow. Right now I’m watching my 4 year old play Playstation as I make mashed potatoes. This is the very last time I’ll be in my 30’s. And no I don’t believe in that reincarnation crap so I won’t be in my 30’s again.
Development Hell
The past several weeks have been incredibly busy. Comic Con International, filming, interviews and the unending editing of various projects not to mention the purhcase of a new house. Yeah, things have been crazy. I’ve been trying to streamline one of the feature scripts that I’ve been working on and it’s kicking my butt. I have changed a few things, deleted others and pondering additional deletions. Hopefully all for the best. Feedback has been good but the most common comment is “streamline”. I guess I know what I’ll be doing for my 40th birthday this Labor Day weekend.
Finished filming a horror short for a contest for Universal being judged by Eli Roth. It was a lot of fun and worked with some great people. Everyone did an outstanding job. We didn’t wrap up until 3AM but it was a great time. Now off to post production.
